The Design Process
Using our competitive analysis, I created a layout that highlighted the preferred aspects of the chosen websites. My design was presented to the team, and we collaborated to clean up the wireframes and make sure the sections flowed in the most straightforward way possible.

Choosing a Color Scheme
The color scheme for this project took a bit more time than expected, with the client initially unsure of the direction they wanted, except for one rule: no orange. We had their base blue color from the logo (#006288)
After some back and forth with no headway, we nudged the client into looking at a primarily blue color scheme with some orange accents. They put it to a vote as a company and agreed that the orange accents worked best for their site. to use in mocking up a few color palettes for consideration.
